John launched Point B Capital in 2010 and is founding employee of Point B with an outstanding dual track record of building the firm and helping dozens of client businesses thrive.

John Bjornson joined Point B in 1995 as Point B’s first employee. While John served as a leader at Point B, the company grew from seed to more than 400 associates. The firm launched six additional markets within its first 15 years, including the Portland practice that John opened. John's consulting background and experience with Point B helps ensure access to the right people to evaluate business opportunities, assess key management of prospective portfolio companies, and engage the resources with beneficial experience to help Point B Capital’s portfolio companies.

John developed and managed all aspects of project delivery at 35 Point B clients and assisted over 200 projects while a Managing Director for Point B's Seattle practice. He developed Point B's recruiting and client service quality functions, architected Point B's unique compensation model, and has led numerous other initiatives to improve Point B's market-facing and internal operations.

John was previously a manager at Accenture from 1989-1995. He holds a BS in Computer Engineering and Engineering and Physics from Pacific Lutheran University. He enjoys time with his wife and 3 kids at their Lake Huron cabin in Ontario, Canada.
