Dan leads Point B's mergers and acquisitions practice.

Dan has led Point B’s Mergers and Acquisitions practice since 2011, leading teams, providing oversight for over 25 transactions including acquisitions, divestitures, JVs, and venture investment, and supporting and advising on many other M&A transactions.  His wide range of experiences helps clients understand where value is created or destroyed as they prepare to execute a transaction.  He builds strategies to overcome the challenges of operational, technical, and cultural integration.  Dan's prior Point B-related experience since joining in 2007 includes leading several transformational initiatives for clients in a variety of industries including technology, telecommunications, healthcare, financial services, consumer products, and life science.

Dan started his career in the U.S. Department of Defense working negotiating contract for the TRIDENT II weapons program and then spent 10 years working in the telecommunications industry in the private sector and as a consultant with Arthur Andersen.  During this time he focused on process improvement to service delivery, revenue assurance, and a variety of marketing initiatives.

Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Master of Business Administration from George Washington University.  He has also worked as an adjunct instructor with Webster University’s MBA program teaching finance and strategic planning courses.
